Our Flour

OUR FLOUR IS FROM A SINGLE ORIGIN, UNBLENDED, ALL FROM OUR FARM. 

Our grain has not been bleached, fortified or had anything added.

Our wheat quality is almost like a time capsule of what has happened in the paddock for that growing season.

 

We are currently milling Reliance wheat from the 'Trees' paddock.
It is spring sown wheat, following a winter feed crop of oats that was grazed with lambs.
The paddock had a lot of natural fertility following the lamb grazing and the wheat grew very well during the spring and summer.
It was a challenging harvest due to a wetter than normal summer but the resulting crop has surprised us with very good  baking qualities.
